Como este projeto não teve uma fase de discussão pública, as únicas informações conhecidas publicamente são que nesta empreitada, orçamentada em 152 mil euros, prevê-se a construção de um prisma de enrocamento longitudinal à via, num troço de 90 metros, mantendo-se o contorno da faixa constituída por calhau rolado, de modo a não desvirtuar o efeito de baía existente. Este prisma encostará a um muro ala no arruamento, também a construir, com acabamento em pedra de basalto. A drenagem superficial deste troço da via marginal será assegurada por uma valeta que escoará as águas pluviais por aberturas na base do muro de proteção.

What is not shown in your pics was the 2nd piece of steel reference (originally mounted on the round cement piece) that has since been removed. It showed the top of the wall at the access end about 2m higher. It seems they have changed their mind about the height of it there.
ResponderEliminarAs can be seen, the angle of stones now makes it very difficult to get into the water. Also not shown was the lack of steps over, or benches on top of the wall. We shall see what they actually build but so far it looks different to the official plans that I saw.
I don't have much faith in government civil architects. They are ruining the islands with their hideous monstrosities and know nothing of creating and maintaining charm and show little though about the overall usefulness of their boring "designs".
